MEMORANDUM To: Parents and Guardians of JLBC Cadet Corps Cadets From: JLBC Cadet Corps Administration Date: 01-03-2025

Subject: Collaboration with Covenant of Courage and Participation in Career Fairs and Events

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to announce that the JLBC Cadet Corps (Junior Leadership Bootcamp LLC) will be collaborating with Covenant of Courage, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting veterans and youth, to participate in Career Fairs and various community events.

Event Details: Cadets will represent the JLBC Cadet Corps at these events in full uniform, demonstrating professionalism, discipline, and leadership. This will provide them with an excellent opportunity to engage with the public, explore career paths, and develop valuable communication and networking skills.

Collaboration with Government Agencies: In addition to working with Covenant of Courage, the JLBC Cadet Corps will also collaborate with the military, police, fire department, and other government agencies. These partnerships will allow cadets to:

  • Learn directly from professionals about careers in public service and emergency response.

  • Participate in interactive demonstrations and hands-on training activities.

  • Gain insights into leadership roles and civic responsibilities.

Cadet Expectations: Cadets are expected to:

  1. Attend scheduled events in full uniform, prepared to represent the program with pride and professionalism.

  2. Participate actively in all activities and demonstrations.

  3. Follow directions from JLBC instructors and guest speakers at all times.

Parental Support and Consent: Parents will be notified in advance of specific event dates, times, and locations. Some activities may require additional consent forms, especially for off-site events or specialized training exercises.

Contact Information: If you have any questions or need further information, please feel free to reach out to us at:

We believe these events will inspire and prepare our cadets for future leadership roles while strengthening their commitment to service and community involvement. Thank you for your continued support as we work together to provide meaningful opportunities for our cadets.

Sincerely,

Kirk Carlson
